who do you want to be?

There was a time when Gershwin doubted his musical ability.  So he went to Ravel to ask him for music lessons.  Ravel responded...

"Why be a second-rate Ravel when you can be a first rate Gershwin?"

How easy is it for us to look at others and desire to be like them or even to be them!  "If only..."  But thats not the way God created us!  

Psalm 139:14 says "I praise you, 

for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.  

Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well."

Do you know that you are wonderfully made?  

Don't be a second-rate someone else when you can be a first rate YOU!
